Event details

The Sproul 10K is scheduled for June 20, 2026, at the Western Clinton Sportsman's Association clubhouse (161 Sportsman's Lane, North Bend / Hyner, PA 17760). This is the 19th annual running of the event. Distances offered:

5K

The event is part of the Rocksylvania Trail Series: the 10K is in the Slate Division and the 5K is in the Sandstone Division. Registration opens December 18 at 8:00 PM and is limited to the first 300 entrants. Registration closes June 1 at 11:59 PM ET. There are no race-day sign ups. The organizer policy states no refunds, no deferrals, no bib switches, and no bandits. Dogs are not allowed on the course. All registered runners receive a technical shirt and a post-race meal.

Course and features

The trail course runs through Sproul State Forest. The 10K climbs about 3 miles to the top of McCloskey Mountain, then continues roughly 3.5 miles downhill to the finish. Course terrain includes single-track trail that can be technical, with stream crossings and scenic vistas. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
