Event details
The Sprint to Spring event takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida (1 Steinbrenner Drive). The event includes an on-site 5K, a fun run, and a virtual participation option. The first 250 in-person runners will receive a commemorative bobblehead. After the event, participants may remain on-site to watch the Yankees pitchers and catchers' open practice.
Entry, inclusions and charity
All in-person participants receive a race bib, a custom finisher medal, and a event t-shirt. Registered participants will be sent an exclusive link to purchase discounted Spring Training tickets for select games after February 1. Virtual registrations are available; if the in-person event cannot take place, the race will shift to a virtual format and registered participants may pick up race materials and participate remotely. A portion of proceeds benefits the Yankees Tampa Foundation, which supports local organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs, Special Olympics, Feeding Tampa Bay, and the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay.
