Sprint for Super Saturdays 5K
The Sprint for Super Saturdays 5K is a community run and walk held at Braintree Town Hall, 1 J.F.K. Memorial Drive, Braintree, MA 02184 on September 20, 2026. The event offers a single 5K distance and includes a post-race gathering with food and prize opportunities.
Registration opens May 15, 2026 and closes September 18, 2026. Published entry fees are $15 for ages 3 to 14, $35 for ages 15 and up, and $40 for day-of registration. A referral program allows participants to share a race referral code to obtain discounts on registration fees.
All participants receive a buffet at SouthSide Tavern Braintree after the event. The program also includes a 50/50 raffle and additional prizes.
The event benefits Super Saturdays, a nonprofit social and recreational program for about 75 individuals with special needs who are residents of Braintree. The program meets every Saturday and is designed to support friendships and social interaction among children and young adults in a non-academic setting.
