Springfield VA Knights of Columbus 5K Fun Run and Walk
The Springfield VA Knights of Columbus 5K Fun Run and Walk is a fundraising running and walking event held at Burke Lake Park, Picnic Shelter A in Fairfax Station, Virginia on September 26, 2026. The event features a 5K course and welcomes participants of all ages, including children in strollers.
Proceeds support KOVAR, a Knights of Columbus charity that assists Virginians with intellectual disabilities, and the St. Bernadette School Tuition Assistance Program. A free barbecue lunch will be provided for participants and their families following the event.
Awards and additional prize drawings are part of the post-race activities. Award ribbons and prizes will be given to the top three finishers in each age and gender category. Multiple random door prize drawings will be conducted for all participants; winners must be present for the drawings.
Registration opens April 13, 2026 and closes September 20, 2026, with a registration fee of $15.00. Pre-registration is limited to 249 participants. The event is held rain or shine, absolutely no pets are permitted on the course or at the shelter, and all entry fees are non-refundable once paid.
