Springfield Charity 5K
The Springfield Charity 5K is a community sports event held in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The event takes place at the Springfield Amenity Center and features a timed 5 km course designed for runners, walkers, and strollers. Participation requires registration for all individuals.
The route is located entirely within the Springfield neighborhood. While residential streets remain open to traffic during the event, the course is defined by bright colored cones and directional signage. Volunteers are also stationed at various points throughout the neighborhood to assist participants.
Proceeds from the event support Big Hearts Big Family in Charlotte and Pineville, as well as the Children's Attention Home in York County. Achieve Balance Therapy matches race day donations up to a specified amount of $5,000. The event follows a rain-or-shine policy, though sessions may be canceled in the event of severe weather such as thunderstorms or tornado warnings. Registrations are non-refundable.
Participants can access various post-race activities and amenities, including:

- Refreshments such as donuts, hot chocolate, coffee, and mimosas
- A Mother's Day themed treat
