Springdale 5K
The Springdale 5K takes place on September 12, 2026 in Camden, South Carolina, on the grounds of the Historic Springdale Race Course and the National Steeplechase Museum, finishing near the gates of the Carolina and Colonial Cup.
This event is a certified and officially timed 5K open to runners and walkers. The course includes one water stop and will be supported by volunteers. Registered participants receive a Springdale 5K shirt, and registered runners are offered free waffles at the finish area. Dogs on leashes and children in strollers are allowed. The event runs rain or shine and is non refundable with no deferrals.
Registration opens January 1, 2026 and closes April 30, 2026. The registration fee is $30.00.
Race proceeds benefit the Mobile Nutrition Center, a mobile food pantry that delivers healthy foods to sites in rural Kershaw County. The Mobile Nutrition Center works to remove barriers to food access such as transportation and income, and delivers a mix of farm fresh, store bought, and rescued grocery items including vegetables, meats, pastas, rice, and baked goods.
