Mt. Moriah 5K
The Mt. Moriah 5K is a community road race held at Mt. Moriah Outreach Inc., located at 813 Broad Street, Camden, SC. The event takes place on November 7, 2026 and supports local food assistance: net proceeds provide Thanksgiving meals for the local community. Since 2021 the outreach organization reports it has served more than 4,000 meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The course is USATF certified and starts and ends at the outreach center. The route is described as a fast down-and-out with a minimal incline toward the turnaround. Dogs are welcome if kept on a leash. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine and organizers note there are no refunds.
Packet pick up is scheduled at Mt. Moriah Outreach Inc. on November 6 and also on race morning. A guarantee shirt deadline is listed as October 24, 2026; finisher shirts and medals are pending final design. Awards are presented immediately after the race and include top three men and women overall, top three men and women masters (40+), and top three men and women in age categories from 14 and under in five-year increments up to 75 and over.
