Mt. Moriah 5K : Camden, SC
The Mt. Moriah 5K is a community road race hosted by Mt. Moriah Outreach Inc at 813 Broad Street, Camden, SC on November 7, 2026. Net proceeds support local holiday meal distribution; since 2021 the outreach has provided more than 3,000 Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. The event is held rain or shine and registration fees are nonrefundable.
The course is certified by USATF and begins and ends at Mt. Moriah Outreach Inc. The route is described as a fast down and out with a minimal incline toward the turnaround. Dogs on leash are permitted on the course.
Packet pick up is available from the outreach site and from an earlier pick up location in Columbia. The deadline to guarantee a race shirt is October 24, 2026. Finisher medals and shirts are noted as pending design.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall, top three masters men and women age 40 and older, and top three men and women in age divisions beginning at 14 and then every five years up to 75 and over. Award recipients must be present or make arrangements with the race director. Group registrations receive a 5 percent savings per registrant. The event lists a fundraising goal of $2,500 for Mt.
