Mt. Moriah 5K
Mt. Moriah 5K is a community road race held in Camden, South Carolina, on November 7, 2026. The event is organized by Mt. Moriah Outreach Inc and is based at 813 Broad Street, Camden. Net proceeds provide Thanksgiving meals for the local community; since 2021 the outreach has served over 4,000 meals.
The course is certified by USATF and starts and finishes at Mt. Moriah Outreach Inc. The route is described as a fast down and out with a minimal incline toward the turnaround. Dogs are permitted on course when kept on a leash. The event takes place rain or shine and offers no refunds.
Packet pick up is scheduled at Mt. Moriah Outreach Inc on November 6 and on race morning. There is a guarantee shirt deadline of October 24, 2026; shirts will not be held after that date. Registration fees change over time with earlier pricing lower than later pricing, and registering multiple people saves 5% per registrant.
Awards are presented immediately after the event and require the recipient to be present or to coordinate with the race director. Awards include top three men and women overall, top three men and women masters 40 and over, and top three men and women in age categories from 14 and under and every five years up to 75 and over.
