Mt. Moriah 5K
The Mt. Moriah 5K is a road race held in Camden, South Carolina at 813 Broad Street and organized by Mt. Moriah Outreach Inc. The event is scheduled for November 7, 2026 and its net proceeds provide thanksgiving meals for the local community; since 2021 the outreach has served more than 4,000 meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The course is certified by USATF and starts and finishes at Mt. Moriah Outreach Inc. The route is described as a fast out-and-back with a small incline toward the turnaround. Dogs on leash are permitted on the course. The race proceeds regardless of weather and registration fees are nonrefundable.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at Mt. Moriah Outreach Inc. on November 6, 2026 and on the morning of the event. Awards are presented immediately after the race; finishers must be present or arrange with the race director before leaving. Awards include the top three men and women overall, top three men and women masters (40+), and top three men and women in age groups beginning at 14 and under and continuing in five-year increments up to 75 and over; no double dipping. Finisher medals and shirts are noted as pending design.
Registration is offered in multiple pricing periods and includes a guarantee shirt deadline of October 24, 2026. Group registrations receive a 5% discount per registrant. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
