Event Overview
The Mt. Moriah 5K is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026. The event starts and finishes at Mt. Moriah Outreach Inc., located at 813 Broad Street in Camden, South Carolina.
Purpose
Net proceeds from the race are used to provide Thanksgiving meals for the local community. Since 2021, the organization has served over 4000 meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Course Details
The race features a USATF-certified 5K course. The route is described as a fast out-and-back with a minimal incline toward the turnaround point. Leashed dogs are permitted to participate.
Registration & Logistics
Registration occurs in several pricing periods, with fees increasing as the event date approaches. A guaranteed race shirt is offered for registrations completed by October 24, 2026. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at the outreach center or on race morning from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM. The event will be held rain or shine, with no refunds.
Awards
Awards will be presented to the top three overall men and women, top three masters (40+) men and women, and the top three men and women in various age categories starting from 14 and under.
