Springbrook Splash 10k
The Springbrook Splash is a community race held at Springbrook Pool, 636 Vose Road, Alcoa, TN, on August 1, 2026. The event offers multiple distances:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 1 mile Kids Mile
The 10k course returns to the former route on the Maryville-Alcoa greenway and uses a rolling out-and-back layout; the finish is at the pool. Post-race refreshments and pool access are provided for participants; those with specific dietary needs or allergies should bring their own provisions.
Registration is tiered by date with specified fees for each distance. Early registration windows and later pricing tiers are described by the organizer; registration policies include no refunds or transfers and online-only discounts such as KTC discounts and volunteer coupons.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and in age divisions at five-year increments. Additional awards include Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters, top Clydesdale (male, 200 lbs plus) and Athena (female, 150 lbs plus), and a prize for the largest registered group. Awards must be picked up during the awards ceremony and will not be mailed.
Parking is available at several nearby lots including the Springbrook Pool and adjacent recreation facilities and parks. Roller blades, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the course and may lead to disqualification.
