Spring Sprint at Uvas
This event takes place on May 31, 2026 at Uvas Reservoir, 14998 Uvas Road, Morgan Hill, CA 95037. The primary sprint course includes a 0.75 mile open water swim in the reservoir, a road bike leg of approximately 16 miles on country roads with two climbs, and a 5 mile run that finishes near the event area. Food and live music are planned near the finish around the award ceremony.
Multiple event formats are offered on the same day, including triathlon, aqua bike, duathlon, aquathlon, open water swim, and a kids fun run.
- Sprint Triathlon (Individual, Athena, Clydesdale, Relay): 0.75 mi swim, ~16 mi bike, 5 mi run
- AquaBike: 0.75 mi swim, 16 mi bike
- Duathlon: run to transition, 16 mi bike, 5 mi run
- Aquathlon: 0.75 mi swim, 5 mi run
- Open Water Swim: 0.75 mi swim
- Kids Fun Run: 1 mile
Registration opens December 26, 2025. Most events list a registration close date of February 2, 2026; the Kids Fun Run registration closes May 30, 2026. Published fees include $125 for individual triathlon entries, $200 for relay teams, $100 for AquaBike, Duathlon, and Aquathlon, $50 for the open water swim, and no fee for the kids run.
Awards include top three finishers in five year age groups for the triathlon and top three overall for other events. The event lists youth and senior pricing, Clydesdale and Athena waves, non-binary and prefer not to say gender options, and relay entries.
