The Spring Lake Memorial Classic takes place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at The Arc Nature Coast, 5283 Neff Lake Road, Brooksville, Florida. The event benefits individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The courses run through eastern Hernando County on tree-lined roads and include significant hills. The area includes native plants and wildlife such as oaks, magnolias, hickory and cedar trees, red hawks, bald eagles, wild turkeys, pileated woodpeckers, bobcats, foxes, coyotes and white-tail deer.

All three events follow shaded, rural roads with hilly terrain. The 2 Mile category is chip timed and all participants receive a walking medal; there are no age brackets for this category. For the 5K and 10K, age-group awards are given three deep in five-year age brackets for both men and women. Champion awards are offered for Masters (40+), Grand-Masters (50+) and Senior Grand-Masters (65+). A runner may receive only one award; champion winners are removed from their age-group standings so remaining runners move up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
