Spring in the City 5K : Spring City, PA

The Spring in the City 5K is held on Friday, May 1, 2026, in Spring City, Pennsylvania. The event includes two distances:

1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

The course follows a scenic, flat out and back route along the Schuylkill River Trail. The start and finish are located at the Bridge Street trail head in the RiverEdge parking lot, behind the Trading Post Depot.

The event is presented by the Spring City Parks and Recreation Committee in partnership with the Bryn Mawr Racing Company. Race timing will be performed by Bryn Mawr Racing Company using chip timing; official results are provided by the timing company.

Awards are given overall male and female, plus top three male and female in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. T-shirts are offered; sizes are only guaranteed for registrations completed by April 22. Entry fee is $25 before race day and $30 on race day. Packet pickup is available on race day and walk-up registrations are welcome. The event is open to all ages. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
