Spring Fling 5K, 10K - Austin
The Spring Fling Race Series presented by Bigfoot Running Company takes place at East Metro Park in Manor, TX. The event features multiple race options, a community-focused Race Rally Tent, finishers' medals and race tees, live DJ and finish-line name announcements, aid stations on course, on-site snacks and a live awards celebration. A Bigfoot mascot may appear during the event.
Race distances include:
- Kids Dash - 20-yard dash for 10 and under, not timed.
- 1 Mile - Not chip-timed; includes race tee and finisher medal.
- 5K (3.11 miles) - Chip-timed with awards.
- 10K (6.22 miles) - Chip-timed with awards.
- Virtual Run - Complete the distance remotely.
Awards for 5K and 10K include a Bigfoot Trophy for 1st overall male and female, a recognition pin for 1st Masters (40+), and standard age-group medals for multiple age categories. Youth pricing is available for ages 12 and under for the 5K or 10K. The event offers a referral refund program and group discounts. A volunteer-then-run option includes a chip-timed bib, shirt, and finisher medal and is limited to the first five sign-ups. Full race volunteers receive a race shirt, VIP access, and a choice of a future race entry or a $20 digital gift card.
Course surfaces are mixed (pavement, crushed granite, dirt paths). Shirts are guaranteed if ordered at least ten days before race day.
