Event overview
Spring Fling Duathlon/5k is scheduled for March 22, 2026 in Fresno, California at Woodward Park (Friant / Ft. Washington Entrance by the "compass"), 7775 North Friant Road, Fresno 93720. The event program includes a Duathlon, a 5k Run/Walk, a Duathlon Relay and virtual options for both the duathlon and the 5k. Entry fees listed on the event page include: Duathlon ($100; reduced rates for Under 18 / 70+), 5k Run/Walk ($45; reduced youth/senior rate), Duathlon Relay ($160) and Virtual events ($50). Some events show limited remaining spots and scheduled price increases in mid-March.
Course, logistics and services
Packet pickup is race-day only at Woodward Park (enter via the Friant entrance; NE corner by the sundial). Transition area opens for duathletes and athletes start at the start/finish arch. A valid USAT membership is required for the Duathlon; it is not required for the 5k. On-course descriptions include a run segment that begins near the park "compass" and a bike route that goes out Eaton Trail to Old Friant Road and Friant Road with a loop past the River Center.

Participants receive a finisher's medal, T-shirt, Subway sandwich lunch and Rosa Brothers chocolate milk. The event offers prizes, giveaways and free race photos.
