Spring Fling Duathlon/5k - Fresno
The event takes place on 03/27/2027 at Woodward Park, Friant / Ft. Washington Entrance by the "compass" (7775 North Friant Road, Fresno, CA 93720). It offers in-person and virtual options across several event formats and distances.
- Duathlon : 15.95 Miles (2.1 mi run, 11.75 mi bike, 2.1 mi run)
- Duathlon Relay : 15.95 Miles
- 5K Run/Walk : 3.1 Miles
- Virtual Duathlon : 15.95 Miles
- Virtual 5K : 3.1 Miles
The in-person run loops start by the "compass" at the northwest corner of Woodward Park, run east to the "cow loop," continue up the middle to the bridge and return. The 5K route crosses the bridge for about 1/2 mile before returning. The bike leg for the duathlon follows Eaton Trail to Old Friant Road, passes the River Center, continues to Friant Road and returns to the Ft Washington entrance of Woodward Park.
Participants receive a finisher's medal, a T-shirt, a Subway sandwich lunch, and Rosa Brothers chocolate milk; there are prizes, giveaways, and free race photos. Virtual entries include options to receive the shirt and medal and to complete the run and bike segments at the participant's chosen location and time. A valid USAT membership is required for the Duathlon only and can be purchased during registration. Registration opens 20 Sep 2026; most in-person registrations close 17 Mar 2027 and virtual registrations close 28 Mar 2027. Fees vary by event.
