Spring Equinox Race information
The Spring Equinox event on March 29, 2026 is the ninth annual running of the spring race in the North Fort Collins and Wellington area of Colorado. The event includes a Half Marathon and a 5k. Both races start and finish at Deppen Brewing in Wellington, located at 3999 GW Bush Unit 101, Wellington, CO 80549.
Current course details note that the 5k runs around the brewery on paved county roads. The half marathon course uses a mix of paved and dirt country roads, roughly split fifty fifty. Organizers list that new courses are coming soon for both distances.
The event offers both in person and virtual participation options. Participants receive event swag including finisher medals and long sleeve shirts, and new 2026 swag designs are noted as coming soon. Packet pickup, sponsor and volunteer information are available as part of the event infrastructure. Results and photos are provided after the race.
