Event Overview
The Spring Dash is a running event scheduled for April 25, 2026, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It serves as an annual fundraiser for United Way North Idaho and has been held since 1982.
Distances and Features
The event offers four distances:
- 5K
- 10K (this distance is a Bloomsday Run second seed qualifier)
- Half Marathon
- Tot Trot for children aged 10 and under
All courses for the 5K, 10K, and half marathon are USATF-certified and run on paved surfaces. They are out-and-back routes starting and finishing at McEuen Park's Avista Pavilion. The 10K and half marathon courses include long sections on the paved North Idaho Centennial Trail with views of Lake Coeur d'Alene.
Participants in the 5K, 10K, and half marathon receive custom finisher medals. Overall and age group awards are given. Gender-specific technical fabric shirts and personalized race bibs are offered, with registration deadlines for guaranteed items. Post-race food and live GPS participant tracking are provided. Group discounts and youth discounts for participants aged 16 and under in the 5K and 10K are available.
The Tot Trot is an untimed event on a paved path in McEuen Park. Participants receive a finisher ribbon. Children aged 6-10 complete two laps of a 1/3 mile course, and children aged 1-5 complete one lap.
Logistics and Registration
Online registration for all events closes on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 7:00 PM. There is no race day registration. Late registration is available at packet pickup on the Friday before the race.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at a local sports store or on race morning at McEuen Park. Swag bags are only available at the Friday pickup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
