Event overview
The CDA Marathon takes place in Coeur d'Alene, ID with a start and finish at McEuen Park (420 E Front Ave). The event date listed is May 24, 2026, and a virtual option runs from May 16 to May 31, 2026. Distances offered include:
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Kids Fun Run (1 mile)
The marathon course is USATF certified (ID20005LAB) and is identified as a Boston Marathon qualifier. There is also a Marathon - Early Start option and a virtual run.
Logistics and race support
Packet pick-up is scheduled at McEuen Park on Saturday, May 23, 2026; limited bib pick-up will be available on race morning for extenuating circumstances. Parking is available at McEuen Park with additional downtown and Coeur d'Alene Resort garage parking. Race Village near the start/finish will offer water, snacks, merchandise for purchase, portable toilets, and hand washing stations.
Aid stations are placed roughly every 2-3 miles and will provide water, sports drink, GU gels, and gummy bear chews; toilets and first aid kits will be available at aid stations and Race Village. Gear check is available for bib-wearing athletes; runners must show their bib when dropping off and picking up bags and will be provided a tyvek wrist band for bag labeling. Awards are given 1st–3rd overall male and female per distance and 1st–3rd in age groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
