Entry fees listed are $45 for the 5 Mile and $55 for the 10 Mile. Prices increase after January 1, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. The race is part of a multi-race Spring Backyard Burn series that includes Wakefield Park, Pohick Bay, Lake Fairfax, and Laurel Hill. A bundle option offers a 10% discount per event and can include 2 to 4 of the listed races.
Course and additional information
The course runs on Lake Fairfax Park singletrack with lake views. Most of the route is fairly smooth singletrack with a few short technical sections featuring more rocks and roots. There is very little pavement, no extended climbs, and many short ups and downs. During registration there is an opportunity to support the local non-profit Homestretch to raise awareness and funds.
