SRG "Spring Ahead" Half Marathon
The event is a half-marathon held on Sunday March 8, 2026, at Union Township’s Union Meadows recreation complex, 100 Campbell Ford Rd, Douglassville, PA. The race is organized to benefit Schuylkill River Greenways; a $500 charitable donation is noted and the event states 100% of donations will go to Schuylkill River Greenways.

The course is described as flat and fast. The half-marathon route loops around the Berm Trail, then follows the Schuylkill River Trail (SRT) to Douglassville and returns to the start/finish at Union Meadows. Water stations will be available at miles 3, 7, and 9. Portable restrooms are provided in the start/finish area and on course at the same mile marks. Parking is available in several nearby lots including the lower Fork and Ale parking lot, the trail parking lot, and the boat-ramp parking lot.
Swag and awards: runners who register by February 26 are guaranteed a race-themed T-shirt while supplies last; half-marathon finishers receive an artist-designed finishers medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall and top three male and female in specified age groups from 14 and under through 70 plus. Winners receive engraved plates for their medals.
