Event overview
The SRG "Spring Ahead" Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2026, in Douglassville, PA. The race starts and finishes at Union Township’s Union Meadows recreation complex, 100 Campbell Ford Rd. Registration includes a deadline to guarantee a race T-shirt on 2/26; shirts are then available until inventory runs out. The event benefits Schuylkill River Greenways; the race will donate $500 and 100% of all participant donations to that charity. After the race, runners over 21 are eligible to receive a free beer at the Fork & Ale.

Course and race-day logistics
The half-marathon course loops around the Berm Trail, then follows the SRT to Douglassville and back. Organizers describe the course as flat. Bib pickup opens on-site at 9 am. Water stations are located at miles 3, 7, and 9. Portable restrooms are available in the start/finish area and on-course at miles 3, 7, and 9. Parking is available in the lower Fork and Ale parking lot, the trail parking lot, the boat-ramp parking lot (about 1/4 mile from the start), and along the access road to the boat-ramp parking lot. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group listed by the organizers; half-marathon finishers receive an artist-designed finishers medal and winners receive engraved plates for their medals.
