Spring Ahead Duathlon & Bike Race
This multisport event is held at Terra Nonno Winery in Millville, New Jersey, on a course that uses quiet scenic roads for the bike and mostly paved roads for the runs, finishing on vineyard grounds. The event includes multiple formats and a bike-only time trial option. Post-event offerings include wine and a food truck.
Distances:
- Duathlon: 1 mile run, 14 mile bike, 5k run
- Super Sprint Duathlon: 1 mile run, 7 mile bike, about 2 mile run
- Bike Only: 21 mile time trial
Swag for finishers includes a medal, a custom wine glass and coaster, and a glass of wine. The race director may adjust course layouts and distances.
The event is USAT sanctioned. All participants must hold an active USAT membership valid through the conclusion of the event. Membership options include One Day (Bronze) and various annual tiers. Key participant rules: photo ID is required, youth athletes without ID must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with photo ID, athletes must pick up their own packets, and annual members should bring their membership card. Race rules include no drafting beyond 15 seconds, no headphones, no riding in transition, and helmets must be securely fastened while in possession of a bike. Unsportsmanlike conduct is not permitted.
