Hometown Half Marathon & 5k/10k - Fayetteville
The Hometown Half Marathon & 5k/10k is a local-themed running event held in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The event features multiple race distances to accommodate various preferences and age groups. Participants can choose from several individual running events:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10k (6.2 miles)
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile
- Kid's Dash (for ages 10 and under)
The half marathon, 10k, and 5k events utilize chip-timing, providing participants with live results and eligibility for awards. The half marathon also includes pacers to assist runners during the race. The 1Mile and Kid's Dash are untimed events. For the Kid's Dash, children who do not require a shirt or medal are permitted to participate at no cost.
All registered participants in the timed and untimed distances receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. To ensure a shirt in the correct size, registration must be completed by midnight on the Thursday ten days before the event. The race provides free event photos and snacks at the finish line.
A virtual participation option is available for those unable to attend the in-person event in Fayetteville. Virtual runners can complete their chosen distance at any location and will receive their participant packet, including the shirt and medal, via mail after the race date.
