Hogeye Marathon and Relays
The Hogeye Marathon and Relays is a multi-day event held in Springdale, Arkansas. This non-profit competition raises funds for local charitable causes in the Northwest Arkansas region. The weekend features various race distances and categorized team challenges to support these community efforts.
The course consists of rolling terrain primarily on city streets, with some sections on paved trails. Participants run through city parks and pass through the local minor league baseball park. The route eventually leads to the Razorback Greenway and concludes in Downtown Springdale.
Participants can choose from several event formats:
- Marathon: A 26.2 mile course through parks and city streets.
- Half-Marathon: A 13.1 mile route that includes views of Lake Fayetteville.
- 4-Person Marathon Relay: A 26.2 mile team race utilizing the same course as the full marathon.
- 10K: A running race held on the second day of the event weekend.
- 5K: A shorter running race held on the second day of the event weekend.
