About the race
Hogeye Marathon & Relays, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit event organization. In 2026 the series raised over $39,000 for local charities. After 50 years the full marathon has been discontinued, but other race events continue.
The course is a rolling route mostly on streets with some paved trail sections. Runners pass city parks and neighborhoods before finishing in Downtown Springdale. The Half Marathon is the state's longest continuously running half marathon.
New and notable event details for the series include a Half Marathon Relay that uses the same half marathon course. Relay participants may still complete the half marathon leg and can receive two medals and two race shirts when they are the first runner on their relay team and complete the half marathon. The 5K has moved to Saturday while Sunday FUNDay features a USTF certified 10K and a 1 Mile fun run with no timing. All events are part of the Hogeye Team Challenge and benefit Northwest Arkansas charitable causes.
