Spooky Sprint - Excelsior
The Spooky Sprint is presented as an annual community run that takes place at Excelsior Commons Park, 135 Lake Street, Excelsior, MN. The event is described as the 3rd Annual Spooky Sprint and offers two course options: one mile and three mile routes that run along the shores and through neighborhood streets adjacent to Lake Minnetonka.
Participants may run in costume or in regular attire. The route uses neighborhood streets and the Lake Minnetonka Regional Trail; vehicles may be present on neighborhood sections, and trail conditions will vary with the weather. Organizers ask runners and walkers to share the trail and stay to the right.
Event services include packet pick up and day of registration at Excelsior Commons. Registration options include an entry with a race shirt while that option is available, and a no shirt entry that remains open through race day. Typical registration items listed are a race bib, glow sticks, a race shirt option, and access to the post race gathering. Timing services are provided for the longer distance.
