Spooky Sprint - Excelsior
The Spooky Sprint is the 3rd Annual Halloween-themed running event held Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Excelsior Commons Park, 135 Lake Street, Excelsior, MN. The event features races that follow neighborhood streets and the Lake Minnetonka Regional Trail.

The route uses neighborhood roads and the regional trail; participants are asked to stay to the right and be prepared for trail conditions that vary with weather. Vehicles will be present on neighborhood sections of the course.
Registration for the 5K includes a race bib, timing services, a 2026 race shirt option, glow sticks, and access to the finish-line after-party. Registration for the 1 mile includes a race bib, a 2026 race shirt option, glow sticks, and access to the after-party. Shirtless registration options are available for both distances.
Costumes are permitted. The post-race gathering at Excelsior Commons offers a DJ, s'mores and fire pits, a hot cocoa and apple cider bar, giveaways, and other on-site activities.
