Spooky Sprint 2026 : Excelsior
Spooky Sprint 2026 is the third annual Halloween running event presented by the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce. It takes place on October 10, 2026, in Excelsior and features a scenic course along the shores and through the neighborhoods of Lake Minnetonka. The event offers both a short race and a longer race route suitable for different paces.
The event distances:
- 5K
- 1 mile
An after-party will be held at Excelsior Commons following the races. The after-party program includes a DJ, s'mores, fire pits, a hot cocoa bar, giveaways, and other activities on site.
Early bird registration pricing listed for the event:
- 5K with shirt $35, without shirt $27.
- 1 mile with shirt $23, without shirt $15.
Participants who completed all three races in the Lake Minnetonka Running Series can use code LMRS26 to claim a custom beanie and a series bib. The event series maintains a presence on Strava under the Lake Minnetonka Running Series club. At the time of the listing, registrations were not available through the registration page.
