Spooky Sprint - Excelsior

The Spooky Sprint is the 3rd annual Halloween-themed run held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Excelsior Commons Park, 135 Lake Street, Excelsior, MN. The event stages a short distance race and a community post-race gathering at the park.

The event offers the following distances:

1 mile

Registration for both distances includes a race bib, timing services, a 2026 race shirt option, glow sticks, and access to the after-party. Packet pick-up and day-of registration are available at Excelsior Commons.

The course follows neighborhood streets and the Lake Minnetonka Regional Trail; participants are asked to share the trail and stay to the right. Vehicles may be present on neighborhood streets and trail conditions can vary with the weather. Participants may wear costumes.

The finish area becomes an after-party at Excelsior Commons with a DJ, s'mores, fire pits, a hot cocoa bar, giveaways, and related activities.
