Spooky Dash Half Marathon and Distance Runs
The Spooky Dash event takes place in Long Beach on October 3, 2026, at 5400 E Ocean Blvd. It features multiple distance options and is organized by ABWR.
Included for participants are custom finisher medals for all finishers, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos posted online after the event, posted results within about 12 to 24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples. The event emphasizes a relaxed and personal racing experience. Pacers and crew are welcome and numerous restrooms and water fountains are available along the course.
The course formats are:
- 5k - out-and-back route
- 10k - two 5k loops
- 15k - three 5k loops
- Half marathon - three 4.36 mile loops
Running or walking with a stroller is allowed. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; an early start option may be available on request.
