Spooktacular Glow Run : Mistwood Golf Club, Romeoville IL
Presented by Mistwood Golf Club and McWethy’s Tavern, the Spooktacular Glow Run is a measured 5K chip-timed run and walk held on paved and gravel cart paths around the Mistwood property in Romeoville, IL. The event features glow paint, neon giveaways, and Halloween candy along the course. A costume contest includes a surprise award for the best costume.
Race entries receive a race shirt, one beer ticket and post-race snacks; soft drinks are available for participants under 21. All finishers receive a race medal, and prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and top three overall female finishers. A disposable timing chip is issued to each registrant.
Packet pick-up is available the day before the event at the sales office across the courtyard from McWethy’s Tavern and on-site the day of the event at a designated packet area. For safety, pets are not allowed on the course, and strollers and walkers are asked to line up toward the back behind runners. The event has a no-refund policy.
