About the race
Spooktacular Costume 5K Run & Walk is a family-friendly 5K event held at Corwin M. Nixon Park in Mason, Ohio, inviting participants to wear Halloween costumes. The dog- and stroller-friendly course winds through the heart of Mason, creating a festive atmosphere.
Inaugurated as a 1st Annual event, proceeds benefit Shine Like Sable, the Comet Cupboard, and the City of Mason to support food-insecure Mason City School students. Two 5K options are offered: Adults and Kids 17 and under. Awards include top male and female in each age division with a first-place lanyard and medal; early registrants may receive a T-shirt and medal.
