SPOOKTACULAR COSTUME 5K RUN & WALK

The SPOOKTACULAR COSTUME 5K RUN & WALK is scheduled for October 31, 2026, at Corwin M. Nixon Park in Mason, Ohio (45040). The event offers a 5K run/walk with separate event entries listed for adults (open to ages 18+) and for youth (open to ages 17 and under). The course is described as dog- and stroller-friendly and encourages participants to wear Halloween costumes.

Proceeds and donations will support Shine Like Sable, the Comet Cupboard, and the City of Mason to help Mason City School students facing food insecurity.

Registration, awards and packet pickup

Registration fees are tiered:

Now through September 22: $30 for adults; $25 for kids (10 and under). Registrations by this date are guaranteed a race t-shirt and medal.
September 23 – October 3: $35 for adults; $30 for kids (10 and under).
October 4 – Race Day: $40 for adults; $35 for kids (10 and under).

Age divisions are provided for awards, covering youth through older adult categories up to 60 and over. Top male and top female in each age division will receive a first-place lanyard with their medal.
