Spooktacular Costume 5K Run & Walk - Mason, OH
The Spooktacular Costume 5K is a community run and walk held at Corwin M. Nixon Park in Mason, Ohio on October 31, 2026. The event encourages participants of all ages to wear Halloween costumes and uses a course that is dog and stroller friendly through the park and surrounding area.
The event is organized as a fundraiser. Proceeds and donations will support Shine Like Sable, the Comet Cupboard, and the City of Mason in their work to assist Mason City School students who face food insecurity.
Registration fees vary by date and participant age. Early registration rates apply through October 2 and guarantee a race t shirt and a medal. Later registration periods have higher fees and registrants after October 2 are not guaranteed a t shirt or medal.
Awards are given by age divisions, with categories that begin at 10 and under and extend through 60 and over. Top male and female in each age division receive a first place lanyard with their medal.
