Splashland Sprint Triathlon
The Splashland Sprint Triathlon takes place in Alamosa, Colorado on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The event is based at Splashland Swimming Pool, 5895 CO Hwy 17, about 1 mile north on State Highway 17. Packet pick up is scheduled Friday, October 2, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, October 3, 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM.
The race format includes the following legs:
- 400 yard swim
- 10 mile bike
- 5k (3.4 mile) run
Entry options include individual and team entries. Published fees are $70.00 for individual entries and $140.00 for teams of two or three. Fees increase after August 18 to $75.00 for individuals and $150.00 for teams of two or three. Registration opens March 15 and closes September 13. Registration on or before August 17 guarantees a tri-shirt on race day.
Awards are given across 13 age groups for male and female competitors, with top three places per age group or team. Overall awards are presented for male, female, and overall teams of two or three. All finishers receive a tri-medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
