Alamosa Veterans Memorial Park Race
The Alamosa Veterans Memorial Park Race is an annual running event held in Alamosa, Colorado. The event serves as a fundraiser for the local Veterans Memorial Park and takes place during the week of Veterans Day. Participants can choose between two different distances:
- 5k
- 10k
The 10k course consists of two laps of the 5k route. Both races begin and end at the Alamosa Family Recreation Center, located at 2222 Old Sanford Rd. While the specific route is subject to finalization, the event is open to runners, walkers, and participants with strollers.
Entry fees contribute directly to the support of the Alamosa Veterans Memorial Park. Registered participants receive a long-sleeve running shirt and access to post-race refreshments. Following the completion of the distances, an awards ceremony is held on-site.
