Splash Summit Triathlon
The Splash Summit Triathlon takes place at Splash Summit Waterpark in Provo, Utah. It features a reverse-order sprint triathlon, finishing with a ride down a 300-foot-long water slide called "Avalanche." The event includes four disciplines: running, cycling, and swimming.
Participants can register for several events:
- Sprint Triathlon - Individual
- Sprint Triathlon - Team Relay
- 5K Run/Walk (standalone event)
- 12 and Under Kid's Triathlon (a super-sprint distance)
The individual sprint triathlon consists of a 5 km run on asphalt, an 8-mile bike ride, and a 300-yard swim. The children's triathlon is half the distance: a 1.5-mile run, a 4-mile bike ride, and a 150-yard swim.
The schedule includes check-in times on the Friday evening and Saturday morning before the event. All triathlon participants receive a t-shirt, race bib, finisher medal, sponsor swag, and two passes to Splash Summit Water Park for the 2026 season. Standalone 5K participants receive one water park pass. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each event, as well as in various age categories.
