Splash Summit Triathlon - Provo, UT
The Splash Summit Triathlon is a reverse-order sprint triathlon held at Splash Summit Water Park in Provo. Racers begin with a run, then transition to a bike course, return for a pool swim, and finish by sliding down a 300-foot waterslide to the finish line. The swim portion allows lifejackets.
Race options include an individual sprint, a team relay, a separate 5K run/walk, and a kids super-sprint triathlon for ages 7 to 12. Participant benefits vary by event and include a race bib, a soft t-shirt, sponsor swag, and waterpark tickets: individual triathlon entries include two passes, 5K entries include one pass, and team entries include passes for team members.
Distances
- Sprint triathlon: 5K run, 8-mile bike, 300-yard swim, 300-foot waterslide finish
- Kid's triathlon: 1.5 mile run, 4-mile bike, 150-yard swim, 300-foot waterslide finish
- 5K run/walk only: 5K (3.1 miles)
Awards are given to the top three male and female triathletes overall, with age-group awards across standard brackets and top three teams overall. The kids triathlon has awards by three age groups. Registrations are non-transferable and non-refundable. Splash Summit tickets for registrants are emailed every two weeks beginning in May; registrations completed after August 13 will receive passes at the event.
