Splash Summit Triathlon 2026
The Splash Summit Triathlon takes place on August 22, 2026 at Splash Summit Waterpark, 1330 East 300 North, Provo, UT. The event uses a reverse-order sprint format: a road run first, followed by a bike course, a pool swim, and a finish down a 300-foot waterslide called "Avalanche." The swim is 300 yards in the wave pool and lifejackets are allowed. The event program includes individual and team sprint triathlons, a separate 5K run/walk, and a 12-and-under kids triathlon.
Distances and format
- Sprint Triathlon - Individual: 5K run, 8-mile bike, 300-yard swim, 300-foot waterslide finish.
- Sprint Triathlon - Team Relay: same distances; team of 2-3 people share the legs.
- 5K Run/Walk ONLY: 5K run/walk on asphalt.
- 12 and under Kid's Tri: 1.5 mile run, 4-mile bike, 150-yard swim, 300-foot waterslide finish.
Registration and extras
Base entry fees listed in event materials are: Sprint Individual $65, Sprint Team $140, 5K $40, Kid's Tri $37. Registrations are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Individual registrations include two Splash Summit season passes; team registrations include three total passes. Passes are distributed by email in the weeks before the event or provided at the event for late registrations.
Awards and race items
Triathlon participants receive a race bib, t-shirt, finisher medal, season passes, and sponsor swag. Special awards go to the top three male and female triathletes overall and top three teams. Age-group awards span youth to 70+ categories; the kid's tri has awards for 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12 age groups. 5K awards are given to the top three male and female finishers.
