Splash and Dash 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run
This event takes place on July 18, 2026 at the Cambridge Developmental Center, 66737 Toland Drive, Cambridge, Ohio. It features two distances and open registration with a set fee.

The course is a large, flat loop around the Cambridge Developmental Center with no hills. The morning includes water features such as sprinklers, fire hydrants, fire trucks and squirt guns operated by the local fire department and sheriff's office. Water and refreshments are available at the finish.
The 5k is a timed competitive race. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. The 1 Mile Fun Run is non-timed and is not eligible for overall or age group awards. All participants receive finishers medals.
Race packets are distributed at the Cambridge Developmental Center and include a custom t-shirt with the official race logo. Participants registered by July 1 are guaranteed a t-shirt; extra shirts are provided on a first come, first served basis. Registration opens May 10, 2026 and closes July 17, 2026. The registration fee is $30. Automatic text and email results are available for those who opt in, and instant results are provided on site and online.
Proceeds will be donated to the Cambridge Developmental Center Client I and E Fund and Employee Appreciation Funds. Participants who register for all six 2026 Grow races receive a custom Grand Prix medal at the final race of the year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
