Event overview
Run Your Ice Off 5K takes place on January 18, 2026 in Cambridge, Ohio. The event offers two choices: a timed 5 km race and a 5 km family fun run/walk. Entry fees are listed as $25, with a reduced fee for GROW members. A three-race bundle is offered as part of the Winter Race Series for a bundled price; the series includes two other 5K events in nearby towns. All participants receive a custom finishers medal. Net proceeds will be donated to the Guernsey County Dog Shelter Building fund.
Course, awards and logistics
The course makes two loops around the school campus and surrounding residential neighborhood, beginning and ending at Cambridge Intermediate School, 1451 Deerpath Drive, Cambridge, OH 43725. Awards in the Race division will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. Family Fun Run/Walk participants are not eligible for those awards. Results are available instantly for opt-in participants via text and email and at on-site results kiosks and the race website. Bib pickup is available on race day at the school. If the in-person event cannot be held for safety reasons, registrations will be converted to a non-refundable virtual event.
