5k Fun Run x Spiteful Brewing - October 25, 2026
Part of the 2026 Illinois Brewery Running Series, this event is a 5k fun run hosted at Spiteful Brewing Tap Room in Chicago. The course is designed to start and end at the taproom and to take participants along a marked route through the surrounding neighborhood.
The run is untimed and takes place on an open course, so roads are not closed and participants must follow traffic laws. Costumes are encouraged. Routes are clearly marked. Participants must bring a valid ID; those under 21 are eligible for a free nonalcoholic beverage.
Registration includes one craft brew at the finish, a choice of Brewery Running Series swag (collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item), entry into a prize drawing, and access to post run activities such as music, games, giveaways, and partner items. Ten percent of proceeds support local nonprofits; the organizer reports having donated over $700k to local organizations to date.
Event operations note that the gathering is planned rain or shine; if running is not safe due to weather, the organizer will still host the post run gathering. There is no bag check.
