Overview
This is an untimed 5k fun run presented by the Illinois Brewery Running Series at Spiteful Brewing Tap Room in Chicago, Illinois on October 25, 2026. The route is designed to start and end at the taproom and runs on an open course where roads are not closed; participants must follow traffic laws. The event allows running, walking, or jogging and invites participants to wear costumes.
Registration includes one craft beer from Spiteful at the finish, a choice of Brewery Running Series swag (a collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item), and entry into a prize drawing for merchandise and beer. The post-run program features music, games, giveaways, and partner items. Ten percent of proceeds support local nonprofit organizations.
Practical details noted for the day: participants must bring a valid ID; those under 21 are offered a nonalcoholic beverage instead of beer. The event proceeds rain or shine; in unsafe running conditions the gathering may still continue for the post-run activities. There is no bag check.
