Spin & Dye 8k
The Spin & Dye 8k is a road race held in Erwin, North Carolina. This event marks the fifth edition of the competition. The race follows an 8k route that both begins and ends at Al Woodall Municipal Park, located at 810 S 16th Street.
Participants are tracked using chip timing technology to ensure accurate results. Recognition is provided for high performance across several categories. Medals are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Additionally, age group medals are distributed to male and female participants based on USAT&F ten-year groupings. These groups include 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up.
This event serves as the second race in a Harnett County series. This series is a partnership between races held in the towns of Dunn, Coats, and Erwin. There is a registration option to bundle all three races in the series together. The proceeds from this specific event are designated to benefit Rockism for Autism.
