Cape Fear Holiday Run : Lillington, NC, December 12, 2026

The Cape Fear Holiday Run is scheduled for December 12, 2026 at Cape Fear Shiner Park, 350 Alexander Drive, Lillington, NC. The event uses a 1.17-mile loop that combines trail terrain with a short paved section. The event offers timed running formats and is presented as a fundraiser for the Harnett Food Pantry, a registered 501(c)3.

Facilities, timing, awards, and registration

The site includes parking and space for personal aid stations near the start/finish area. One main aid station will provide water, Gatorade, soft drinks, and snacks. The event is cup-less; participants are asked to bring reusable cups, handheld bottles, or hydration packs. Limited disposable cups will be available. Electronic timing will be provided by Clockwork Race Timing. Porta-potties will be available in 2026 and permanent restrooms are planned for the future. All finishers receive a finisher's medal. Special awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each timed event and for the participant with the most holiday spirit. Registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable. Registration opens January 1, 2026; registrations by November 10, 2026 are guaranteed a T-shirt.
