Cape Fear Holiday Run

The Cape Fear Holiday Run is a timed trail running event held at Cape Fear Shiner Park in Lillington, NC. The course uses a 1.17-mile loop that combines singletrack trail with a short paved section.

Timed events are offered in three durations: 9 hour, 6 hour, and 3 hour. The venue provides ample parking and space for participants to set up a personal aid station near the start and finish. Event organizers will operate a central aid station stocked with water, Gatorade, soft drinks, and assorted snacks. The event is cup-less; participants are asked to bring reusable cups, handheld bottles, or hydration packs, and a limited number of disposable cups will be available.

All finishers receive a finisher's medal. Top three male and female finishers in each timed event receive awards, and there is a special award for the most holiday spirited participant. Electronic timing is provided by Clockwork Race Timing. Portable restrooms will be on site for the 2026 event; permanent restroom facilities are planned for the future.

The event is organized by Cape Fear 24 Hour. All event registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable. All proceeds and donations go to the Harnett Food Pantry.
