Event overview
The Special Kids Race is the 15th annual edition, scheduled for March 14, 2026, at 1272 Garrison Dr, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The course begins at the Murfreesboro Medical Center and follows a flat route that passes the Stones River Battlefield and Gateway Island. The event includes a Family Fun Zone, refreshments, and activities for all ages.

Current listed registration prices (including processing fees): 15K $71.53 ($65 + $6.53); 10K $66.18 ($60 + $6.18); 5K $60.83 ($55 + $5.83); 1 Mile Family Fun Run $37.30 ($33 + $4.30). Registration fees are nonrefundable unless the participant enrolled in the Refund Protection Program. Race management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions, and fees are not refundable if the event is cancelled due to Acts of God.
The fundraising campaign shows $265.64 raised toward a $10,000 goal (3% raised) with 118 participants listed.
