Special Kids Race
The Special Kids Race is the 16th annual community running event held at 1272 Garrison Dr, Murfreesboro, TN. The course begins at Murfreesboro Medical Center and passes through the Stones River Battlefield and Gateway Island. The event includes a Family Fun Zone with refreshments and activities for all ages.

A pace requirement applies to the 15K and 10K: runners must maintain a 12:30 minute per mile pace or they may be moved to the 5K; participants who continue without maintaining the pace will not receive course support, timing, or eligibility for awards. Packet pickup and awards are part of the event program. Fundraising is an element of the event, with a stated goal of $10,000 and no funds raised at the time of the listing.
Registration policies note that refunds are not issued unless the participant enrolled in the Refund Protection Program. Race management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions, and registration fees are not refundable in cases described as Acts of God.
