The Spartanburg Run for Babies is a 5th annual 5K road race held on April 18, 2026. The event benefits March of Dimes and supports the organization’s work in maternal and infant health, including research, advocacy, resources for pregnant people, and training for health professionals. The race takes place at Fifth Third Park, home of the Hub City Spartanburgers, located at 1000 Duncan Park Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
Logistics and awards
General entry price is listed as $25, with a reduced price for children under 12. Youth pricing is shown as $20 through February 28 and $25 through race day; overall price increases after October 28, 2025. Only children who need a bib or t-shirt must register; a child in a stroller does not need a separate registration. Packet pickup is scheduled the Thursday before the race at Hub City Runners and will also be available on race morning at Fifth Third Park. A kids' Superhero Sprint for ages 12 and under is planned on site; the fun run is about 20 yards and does not require separate registration; each participating child receives a cape and mask. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group (male and female); age groups range from 1-9 up to 80+. The route map will be posted prior to the event.
