Spartanburg Run for Babies 5k by March of Dimes presented by Cooper Standard
The Spartanburg Run for Babies is a 5-kilometre road race held on April 18, 2026. The event is the fifth annual Run for Babies in Spartanburg and benefits the March of Dimes. The organizer notes maternal and infant health concerns, including that one woman dies every 12 hours from pregnancy-related causes and that 1 in 9 babies in South Carolina is born prematurely.
The race takes place at Fifth Third Park, home of the Hub City Spartanburgers, located at 158 Pollard Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. Parking is available at the Spartanburgers Parking Garage. Registration price is listed as $30, with discounted pricing for children under 12. Youth pricing is $20 through February 28 and $25 through race day; the general price increases after March 20, 2026.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, April 16 at Hub City Runners and will also be available onsite on race morning. Top three finishers in each age group will receive a handcrafted award. Age groups start at 1-9 and continue in typical decade bands up to 80+. A route map is provided by the organizer and the event includes fundraising and sponsorship elements to support March of Dimes programs and research.
