Spartan Sprint 5K & Family Fun Run
The Spartan Sprint 5K & Family Fun Run takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Elgin Community College, 1700 Spartan Drive, Building B, Lakeside Patio, Elgin, IL 60123. The event is part of ECC Homecoming Week 2026 and is open to ECC students, alumni, employees, and community members.
The program includes a 5K race and a Family Fun Run. Registration opens May 25, 2026 and closes September 20, 2026. Registration for participants includes a commemorative Spartan Sprint T-shirt.
Fees are stated as $25 for age 11 and older, $15 for children aged 5 to 10 years, and free for children under 4. Proceeds support the Elgin Community College Foundation's efforts to create opportunities for students through scholarships, programs, and educational initiatives.
