About the race
The SPARC of Hope 5K is a community run and walk scheduled for 10/17/2026 at East End Farm in Louisa County, Virginia. The event address is 1091 Hamilton Rd, Louisa, VA 23093. It is organized to support local suicide prevention efforts and to provide a space for sharing stories of hope and recovery and for honoring loved ones lost to suicide.
The event offers a 5K run/walk and is open to people of all ages. Dogs are welcome on leash. Participants may register in one of two ways: register to receive an event shirt for a fee or register without a shirt at no cost. Shirt prices are $20 until August 9 and $25 after that. Registration opens 7/30/2026 and closes 10/15/2026. Donations are encouraged.
Organizers state that 100% of event proceeds will go to local suicide prevention efforts through SPARC, a group that includes concerned citizens, professionals, and partner agencies working to reduce suicides in the area.
