Southold Schools Athletic Association 5K & Fun Run
The Southold Schools Athletic Association hosts a community running event on October 31, 2026 at Southold Elementary School, 420 Oaklawn Ave., Southold, NY 11971. The event includes organized running opportunities for adults and a separate kids fun run for younger participants.
Distances offered:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids Fun Run, ages 12 and under; free registration preferred and awards for all participants
Registration options and fees are listed for early and race day entries, with discounted pricing for participants 18 and under. The first 50 registrants receive a t-shirt. Participants may register as individuals or form teams; suggested donation amounts are available as an option during registration. Registering three weeks in advance allows a personalized bib name.
Awards are given to the top three finishers by male and female age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. Additional awards include best costume for adults and kids, both individual and group.
Bib pickup and check-in take place at the Southold Elementary School gymnasium on Oaklawn Avenue. Registration fees are non refundable and non transferable. Proceeds benefit the Southold Schools Athletic Association to support health and wellness opportunities and scholarships for students.
