Southern Sydney Track Ultra
The Southern Sydney Track Ultra is a multi-day track running and race walking event held at the Campbelltown Athletics Centre in Leumeah, south of Sydney. The 2027 edition is the seventh running of the event and is scheduled for the first weekend in July 2027 (dates listed as Friday 02 July – Sunday 04 July 2027, TBC). The event is organised by Ultra Running NSW.
The 2027 program includes a wide range of timed track races and officially hosts the Australian National Track Championships for both the 24 hour and 48 hour distances. The meeting is IAU Bronze labelled and sanctioned, and the venue has a new synthetic track surface that was remeasured over the 2024/25 summer months. The event will include official walking championships and qualifiers such as the Australian Centurion Walkers qualifier race and the Race Walking Australia 100 km walking championships.
Races take place over three days and the line up includes ten races. Running distances include:
- 48 hour
- 24 hour
- 12 hour
- 6 hour
- 3 hour
- 1 hour
Race walking events include timed races from:
- 48 hour down to 6 hour
