Southern New Hampshire Health 5K Run/Walk
This event is a community 5K run and walk with a separate kids fun run, held in Nashua, New Hampshire at 67 Amherst Street. The program combines an adult 5K distance with a short race for children and includes opportunities for team entries.
The event supports Legacy Trust, the charitable foundation for Southern New Hampshire Health. Proceeds fund services such as rides for patients to and from cancer treatments, training and career advancement for apprenticeships, a meals program, and assistance for new mothers and babies. Organizers decided to postpone the originally scheduled date because of a potential nor'easter affecting New England and indicated that a new date will be announced.
Registration used tiered pricing and team discounts. Example fees included early bird adult registration at $25 and kids 1-12 at $20; regular adult registration at $30 and kids at $25; race day adult registration at $40 and kids at $30. Team discounts applied for groups, and the kids fun run was listed as free.
