Southborough's 20th Annual Gobble Wobble
The Friends of Southborough Recreation Department organizes Southborough's 20th Annual Gobble Wobble, a community running and walking event on 11/26/2026 at 40 Parkerville Rd, Southboro, MA. The event supports community health and funds local projects and programs.
Available distances and formats:
- 5K run with separate 19+ and 18 and under divisions.
- 2 Miles family walk with separate 19+ and 18 and under divisions.
Registration opens 10/1/2026 and closes 11/25/2026. Fee structure differs by age group: the 19 and older entries are listed at $35 and the 18 and under entries at $25. Day of registration is accepted and the 5K fee increases by $5 on race day. Mail in registrations are accepted. Registrations are also accepted during pre-registration bib pick up.
Pre-registration bib pick up is Wednesday 11/25, 12 PM to 5 PM at Trottier Middle School, 49 Parkerville Rd. Shirt size is not guaranteed and there are no refunds if a participant cancels or the race is cancelled due to inclement weather.
No dogs are allowed on the course during the race this year. Proceeds help fund Fayville Playground replacement, scholarships, 911 Memorial Field turf, Special Olympic programs, Choate Field lighting, the summer concert series, Southborough Summer Nights, Finn School playground, and related community projects. Medals are awarded 1st overall male and female and top male and female in age categories 10 and younger, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and older.
