Location and Logistics
The venue is South Seas Captiva Island on Plantation Road. Captiva Island is connected to the Florida mainland via the Sanibel Causeway and a bridge from Sanibel Island. Due to limited parking, car-pooling is required for participants. Spectators are advised to ride with athletes. Participants not staying at the resort must park in designated areas outside the gates and use a trolley shuttle to reach the start/finish area; the last trolley picks up at 6:30 AM. A road closure on Captiva Drive from 6:45 AM to 9:00 AM on race day affects access from Sanibel. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
