South Pennine 24

South Pennine 24 is an LDWA event held at Dovestone Sailing Club, Dovestone Reservoir, Greenfield (OL3 7NE), on the South Pennine Moors. The 24-mile route covers about 3,900 ft of ascent and traverses a mix of wild moorland, well-graded footpaths and bridleways, offering dramatic views of the Dark Peak. The course is fully supported with drinks and pastries, four checkpoints with food, and soup at the finish; certificates are available on request.

Priority entry is for LDWA members, with a separate price for non-members. The event is limited to 150 participants and dogs are not allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
