South Lakes 10K
The South Lakes 10K takes place on August 30, 2026 in Reston, Virginia. The event is based at South Lakes High School, 11400 South Lakes Drive, Reston VA 20191, and is organized by South Lakes 10K.

All pre registered participants receive a commemorative race shirt, a unique race bib, a medal, post race snacks, free race day photos, and a digital finisher certificate. Race photos are free to download after the event when the bib is visible on the front of the outfit for tagging.
Awards are provided for the live race only. Prizes go to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group awards are given in increments of five years from 14 and under through 80 and over. There are no awards in the virtual race.
The live race will be timed by Commonwealth Race Management using the ChronoTrack B disposable tag system. Results are posted immediately after the race and will be available on the event results pages. Funds raised by the event benefit the South Lakes High School Cross Country team.
