South Lakes 10K : Reston, VA
The South Lakes 10K takes place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at South Lakes High School, 11400 South Lakes Drive, Reston, VA 20191. The event offers the following distances:
- 10K (live race)
- Virtual 10K (virtual participation)
Funds raised by the event benefit the South Lakes High School Cross Country team.
Entry, awards and services
Both the live 10K and the Virtual 10K have an entry fee of $50; the price increases after July 31, 2026. All pre-registered participants receive a commemorative race shirt, a unique race bib, a medal, post-race snacks, free race day photos, and a digital finisher certificate. Race photos are free to download after the event; bibs should be visible for photo tagging.
The live 10K will be electronically timed by Commonwealth Race Management using the ChronoTrack B disposable tag system. Results will be available immediately after the race and posted on the PRRaces results and photos page.
Awards in the live race will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female age group finishers in five-year increments from 14 and under through 80 and over.
