2026 Carolinas Spartan Trifecta Weekend
The Carolinas Spartan Trifecta Weekend takes place at The Johnson Farm in Newberry, South Carolina. This outdoor sports event utilizes the farm’s natural landscape, featuring a course comprised of winding wooded trails, creek crossings, and red clay terrain. The environment includes technical sections and water elements that may require specific footwear for traction.
Participants can choose from several distance options, each featuring a specific number of built-in obstacles:
- Ultra 50K: A long-distance course featuring 60 obstacles.
- Beast 21K: a half-marathon distance featuring 30 obstacles.
- Super 10K: A middle-distance course featuring 25 obstacles.
- Sprint 5K: A shorter course featuring 20 obstacles.
- Kids Race: Distances ranging from 1 to 3 km with age-appropriate obstacles.
The venue layout includes a long section of wooded running at the start to assist with participant spacing before reaching the obstacle stations. In addition to the competitive races, the weekend schedule includes an obstacle workshop on the Friday before the main events and designated areas for spectators.
