True to the Brew Trail 10K Run/Hike
The True to the Brew Trail 10K Run/Hike is the 10th annual event held April 3, 2027, on the Peak to Prosperity Passage of the Palmetto Trail in Pomaria, South Carolina. The course finishes at the Broad River Trestle at Alston Trail Head on the Palmetto Trail.
The event is a 10 km trail run and hike capped at 300 participants to maintain safety on the trail. Registration opens August 11, 2026 and closes September 30, 2026, with a registration fee of $50. Entry is non refundable; race deferrals are not allowed after February 15 and bib exchanges are not permitted after March 15.
New in 2027, there is parking available near the finish at Alston Trail Head and shuttles will transport participants to the start line in Pomaria on race day. The finish area includes live music, professional photography, a grilled breakfast, and a complimentary beer for bibbed participants. Only bibbed participants will be allowed on the course.
The event runs rain or shine. Dogs are permitted on leash. Strollers are not allowed. Proceeds benefit the Palmetto Conservation Foundation. The foundation works to foster appreciation for South Carolina’s natural and cultural resources and to provide opportunities for active recreation on the Palmetto Trail and other trail systems.
