True to the Brew Trail 10K Run/Hike
The 9th annual True to the Brew Trail 10K Run/Hike takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Pomaria, South Carolina. This event utilizes the Peak to Prosperity Passage of the Palmetto Trail, taking participants through a scenic point-to-point route. The course is located on a former railroad bed, resulting in a wide, non-technical, and mostly flat surface suitable for various experience levels.
The event consists of a single distance:

The route begins behind Wilson's Grocery on US-176 and concludes at the Broad River Trestle at the Alston Trail Head. Participants cross the impressive trestle to reach the finish line celebration. Several water and aid stations are positioned along the course to support runners and hikers.
The event is limited to 300 participants to maintain safety on the trail. Registered participants receive a custom bottle opener medal upon finishing and a quarter-zip pullover, provided they register by the designated deadline. A finish line celebration features live music, professional photography, a grilled breakfast, and one beverage for bibbed participants.
Logistics include a bag drop service at the start line and a shuttle service that transports participants from the finish line back to the official parking area at the Pomaria Baseball Fields.
