Event overview
True to the Brew Trail 10K Run/Hike is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Pomaria, South Carolina. The event is a 10K trail run and hike held on the Peak to Prosperity Passage of the Palmetto Trail. The field will be capped at 300 participants and proceeds benefit the Palmetto Conservation Foundation and the Palmetto Trail. Entry fee listed is $55 and entries are open to ages 9 through 100.
Course and services
The course follows an old railroad corridor that is described as non-technical, wide, and mostly flat. The route finishes on the Broad River Trestle at the Alston Trail Head and includes several water/aid stations along the way. All finishers receive a custom bottle opener medal. Awards are planned for the top three overall male and female finishers and top three masters male and female finishers.
Logistics and policies
Packet pick up is offered the day before at Craft And Draft on Devine Street from 4:00 to 6:30 pm and race-day packet pick up is available at the start line. Race day parking is at the Pomaria Baseball Fields on Folk Street; there is no parking at the start location behind Wilson’s Grocery on US-176. Shuttle service from the finish back to parking will run at regular intervals. The event is rain or shine, dogs are allowed on leashes, strollers are not permitted, and the event is non-refundable. Registered, bibbed participants only are allowed on the course and are eligible for the complimentary finish-line beer. Shirts are guaranteed only for registrations completed by February 26, 2026.
