Event overview
The True to the Brew Trail 10K Run/Hike is scheduled for March 28, 2026 in Pomaria, SC (Angella Street / US-176 area). This is the ninth annual edition and the event is limited to 300 participants. The distance is 10K on the Peak to Prosperity Passage of the Palmetto Trail. The trail follows an old railroad bed and is described as non technical, wide and mostly flat. The race benefits the Palmetto Conservation Foundation and the Palmetto Trail. Entry is open to ages 9 to 100 and the listed entry fee is $55.
Logistics and race details
The course begins at the Palmetto Trail entrance behind Wilson’s Grocery and finishes on the Broad River trestle at the Alston Trail Head. Race day parking is at the Pomaria Baseball Fields on Folk Street; parking near Wilson’s Grocery is not permitted. Shuttle service from the finish back to the parking area runs approximately every 20 minutes. The event is rain or shine and has a three hour time limit. Dogs on leashes are allowed; strollers are not permitted. All finishers receive a custom bottle opener medal. The organizer provides live music, professional photography, breakfast options and one free beer for registered, bibbed participants at the finish; additional beer is available for purchase for spectators.
