Sorghum Shuffle 5K
The Sorghum Shuffle 5K is a 3.1 mile running race held in downtown Springfield, Kentucky at 124 West Main Street, Springfield, KY 40069. The event takes place on Main Street with the start and finish located in front of the Main Stage.
Registration pricing is listed as $20 for individual entries on or before September 21, 2026 and $25 for individual entries after that date. Kids age 9 and under may run free; that free entry does not include a t-shirt. Participants who register by September 21, 2026 receive a Sorghum Shuffle T-shirt; t-shirts are not available after the deadline to order.
Packet pickup is available at the start/finish area in front of the Main Stage on Main Street Springfield. The event is part of the United Way Tri-County Trifecta along with the United Way Spirit 5K in Bardstown and the Pokey Pig 5K in Lebanon. Participants who complete all three events receive additional swag from the Tri-County Kentucky United Way, which sponsors the Trifecta.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top male and female finishers in age categories that include 12 and under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-55, 56 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
