Sorghum Shuffle 5K
The Sorghum Shuffle 5K is a road running event held in downtown Springfield, Kentucky at 124 West Main Street. The course distance is 3.1 Miles. The event is part of the United Way Tri-County Trifecta along with the Pokey Pig 5K in Lebanon and the Spirit 5K in Bardstown and is sponsored by Tri-County Kentucky United Way.
Registration fees are listed as $20 for individuals on or before September 21 and $25 for individuals after September 21. The first 100 registered participants who meet the registration deadline receive a Sorghum Shuffle T-shirt; t-shirts are not available after the deadline to order. Children age 9 and under may run free; that free entry does not include a t-shirt.
Packet pickup is handled at the start and finish area. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top male and female finishers in the following age categories: 12 and under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-55, and 56 and over.
