Green Dot Bunny Trot 5K Run/Walk - Bardstown, KY
The Green Dot Bunny Trot is the fourth annual community run and walk taking place on March 28, 2026, in Bardstown, Kentucky. The event is organized by Green Dot, a Violence Prevention Initiative, and is supported by CHI Mission & Ministry Fund through Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation. It supports the Green Dot Bystander Intervention Program, which aims to encourage action against violence and promote humankindness.
The event is free and open to all ages and fitness levels. Walking is permitted in both distance options, and participants are encouraged to bring canned food donations for the local food pantry. Prizes and recognitions include top male and female 5K overall winners, a Hoppin' in Style award for festive bunny-themed attire, a Green Dot Unity Award for the team with the most participants, and age group awards for both distances. Age divisions award the top two finishers in each group from 9 and under through 60 and over. All finishers receive medals.
Race day packet pickup is available near the start/finish area. The course layout uses loops: the 5K follows two loops and the shorter option follows one loop. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
