Event overview
The Green Dot Bunny Trot 5K Run/Walk takes place on March 28, 2026, in Bardstown, Kentucky. It is the fourth annual edition and supports the Green Dot Bystander Intervention Program. The event is hosted by Green Dot, a Violence Prevention Initiative, and is made possible by CHI Mission & Ministry Fund through Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation. Location, logistics and community details
The event location is 4305 New Shepherdsville Rd, Bardstown, KY 40004. Race day packet pickup is available near the start/finish area. Organizers encourage participants to bring canned food donations for the local food pantry. Prizes and awards include overall top male and female 5K winners, a Hoppin' in Style award for festive bunny-themed attire, a Green Dot Unity award for the team with the most participants, age-group awards for both distances across multiple divisions, and finisher medals for all finishers.
