The Sopchoppy Worm Grunting Festival Wiggle Worm Fun Run is a family-friendly community event held in Sopchoppy, Florida. Serving as the official kickoff for the 24th Annual Sopchoppy Worm Grunting Festival, this event features a course that meanders through the historic downtown area. Both walkers and runners are invited to participate in the festivities, which for 2026 follows the theme "What a Wonderful Worm!"

Participants may choose to wear standard athletic clothing or "worm" attire. Leashed dogs are permitted to attend provided they are well-behaved around others. The course begins at the intersection of Rose Street and Orange Street and concludes at the intersection of Rose Street and Summer Street.
Registration and Awards
Registration fees vary based on the date of entry and age. Early registrants are guaranteed a race T-shirt, while those registering later receive shirts only if supplies remain. A reduced-price option is available on the day of the event for those who do not wish to receive a T-shirt. All participants receive a fuzzy worm necklace and a hand-painted festival rock.
