Event
The Sombra Antigua Wine Run 5k is scheduled for Sunday, February 8, 2026 in Anthony, New Mexico. The event takes place at Sombra Antigua Vineyard and Winery, 430 La Vina Rd. The main competition is a 5k run/walk.
Entry and inclusions
Current registration shows a price of $25. The event is open to ages 1 to 99. Registration items include a Super Soft ring spun cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, online results, and a pour of wine. A Volunteer and Run option is listed with a separate fee and a limited number of spots.
Timing, results and photos
The 5k is chip timed and scored by J3 Timing. Results will be posted online at the timing provider. Free race photos will be available for download after the event.
Additional information
Packet pickup is race day only. A virtual participation option is offered; packets can be shipped for an additional shipping and handling fee. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in ten-year categories (1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over). Minors receive a discounted registration package but do not receive a wine glass or wine pour. Dogs are allowed on leash; dogs are not allowed in the tasting room.
