Event overview
The Sombra Antigua Wine Run 5k is scheduled for February 8, 2026 in Anthony, New Mexico. The event is a chip-timed 5k held at Sombra Antigua Vineyard and Winery, 430 La Vina Rd, Anthony, NM 88021. Results are timed and scored by J3 Timing and will be posted online. A virtual participation option is available; packets can be shipped for a shipping and handling fee.
Entry, awards and logistics
Registration includes a t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, and a wine pour. Age group awards are offered in 10-year categories, with custom awards for top finishers in each category; awards must be picked up on race day and will not be shipped. Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event start.
Minors are allowed and receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib; minors do not receive a wine glass or wine pour. Strollers are permitted but not recommended because of uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free and do not need to register.
